There are lots of opportunities for young adults to progress their personal and professional development skills within St John Cymru Wales.
If you are aged between 18-25 why not consider:
The Amalfi Challenge provides a flexible framework for 16 to 25 year olds to undertake a programme of personal development, whilst working towards the Amalfi Award. The Amalfi Challenge is self-directed, enabling you to set your own goals with guidance and support from other people.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is one of the most recognisable qualifications across the UK and the world. St John Cymru Wales members aged 14 -25 are encouraged to undertake Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards through our status as an accredited centre.
St John Cymru Wales has a number of LINKS groups at Universities across Wales. LINKS groups are student societies run solely by students, and meeting times and duty attendance can work around timetables and studying. LINKS is a great way to meet new people, make a real difference in the local community, develop a wide range of lifesaving skills and embrace a leadership role.
Overseas development work is a core activity within our National programme for 16-25 year olds. Young adults have recently travelled to Zambia, India, Hungary and New Zealand to develop their skills and experience the life-changing work that St John provides across the globe.
